"Half Me, Twice You"

"Half Me, Twice You" was premiered in the summer of 2004 at the International Aerial Dance Ferstival in Colorado. The piece is performed on a rope-grid apparatus designed by and known to the company members as "the web".

The introvert meets the extrovert. Caught in the recursive web of habit, repetition and compulsion it is hard for the two people to break through to each other.It seems as if "Half Me, Twice You" is looking at one of the loneliest places of the soul. As if amnesia took it all. There are few moments of emotion that will have the power of imprinting a lasting impression on the two people's lives. A feeling remains, not a memory, but a hint of a more fulfilled life.
