alban elved dance company has been bringing daring and eclectic modern
dance performances to your community since 2001. With a repertoire of works
that incorporates everything from bungee cords to 3-D animation, video
projection, aerial fabric, live music, fractal image computations, site
specific and outdoor works, alban elved always has something new and
provocative to say.
We need your help to make future projects possible.
alban elved dance company has grown at a rapid pace during the past few years, but like most performing arts organizations, only a small percentage of our operating costs can be raised by ticket sales alone. About 15% of our cost of producing a show is covered by ticket sales, 25% by grants, and the rest through the support of generous individuals. Despite the progress we have made, paying the artists who work with us at the rate that they need and deserve continues to be one of our greatest challenges.
alban elved dance company is dedicated to bringing you memorable and unusual
performance experiences, but we rely on your support. We recognize that these are hard financial times, but even a small donation can be a great help to us. If each one of you who reads gives just $18 to alban elved this year- that’s only a nickel a day- that would be enough to completely fund a new evening length production! Or perhaps, if you are able to, please consider giving more generously. It makes a tremendous difference to us.
