VISUAL TREAT: alban elved is fascinating"
"It is hard to imagine anyone ever describing an alban elved performance as "routine".
With each new production the dance company pushes boundaries, explores new areas and challenges both the eyes and the mind.
FREE SPACE 2004: The Bridge is no exception. This is the group's second collaboration with scientists from Wake Forest University. It's just as intriguing as the first one, and on some levels, even more successful.
... "A Link With The Darkness", a short but stunning blend of dance and 3-D imagery.
...The 3-D effects, created by Yue-Ling Wong of Wake Forest, are fare more striking than those in last year's collaboration, Fibonacci and Phi. Those were good, but not this good.
Jennifer Burg worked on "(Une) Journee (Abstraite)...the piece - as with FREE SPACE as a whole - is fascinating, challenging and compelling, it's great fodder for the imagination."

"CROSSING THAT BRIDGE
Those who saw last year's Fibonacci and Phi" can atest to the fact that when these groups work together, fascinating things happen."
